Filip-Mihai Toma, PhD
Researcher at the intersection of Cognitive Science, Neuroeconomics, AI and Finance.
I am a researcher working at the intersection of cognitive neuroscience, behavioral economics, artificial intelligence and finance. From 2022 to 2024 I was a Postdoctoral Research Scholar and Fulbright Scholar at the California Institute of Technology, in the labs of Colin Camerer and Shinsuke Shimojo. My work combines EEG, eye-tracking, biometrics and AI to study human–AI interaction, forecast asset-bubble crashes, and preserve human agency in a world of algorithmic decision-making. I am currently a lecturer at the Bucharest Business School and a Senior Model Owner for ESG Sustainable Finance models at the London Stock Exchange Group.
